The short version

LIVE TRAIN MAP does not collect, store or share any personal information.

What the app does

The app downloads public, real-time transit data directly from transit agencies (the MTA in New York, the MBTA in Boston, BART in San Francisco and Transport for London) and shows it on a map. These requests contain no information about you; like any web request, they reach the agency's servers from your device's internet connection, and are covered by that agency's own privacy policy.

What the app does not do

• No accounts or sign-in
• No location tracking
• No analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind
• No data is sent to the app's developer

Children

The app collects no information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
